Courtney Edwards
Courtney Edwards, married to her college sweetheart, Zach Edwards, is a mother to four sons: James, Hunter, Cameron, and Brooks, along with their two canine companions, Kenzie and Sterling. Celebrating 18 years of marriage in July, the couple's shared passion for architecture and design initially bonded them. The Edwards family calls the DFW area home.
Courtney, an alumna of Texas Tech University, graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. Her professional journey included roles in healthcare and hospitality design firms before landing her dream position at Gensler, renowned for commercial design. Transitioning to prioritize raising her children, Courtney's enthusiasm for interior design remains unwavering, drawing from a wealth of diverse experiences to deliver projects with flair.
The inception of Courtney Edwards Designs, LLC fulfilled a longstanding aspiration, spurred by persistent requests for design assistance from friends and family. Influenced by her mother's love for interior design, Courtney finds fulfillment in the transformative process of creating spaces that bring joy upon completion.
Assisting Courtney is design savant Ashley Marek, whose keen eye for design and organizational prowess complement Courtney's leadership. Embracing the collaborative nature of design, they embark on client projects with enthusiasm, boasting a talent pool that exudes excellence. Courtney spearheads all design projects within the firm.
Established in May 2020, Courtney Edwards Designs LLC stands as a testament to Courtney's dedication to her craft and the realization of her long-held entrepreneurial vision.
